Course Structure and Curriculum
My Approach to Teaching
As the resource person of this batch from the past 3 years, I have personal experience cracking entrance exams like CUET PG (Score- 280), and having offered admission into MSc Counselling Psychology (Christ University, Central Campus) and MSc Clinical Psychology (Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal Campus). As a teacher, I believe learning has no limits. Hence, I upskill myself regularly, which is reflected in my recent performance (UGC NET, 98.9%ile) and (GATE, AIR 46)
My priority in class is for my students to not just understand the subject conceptually, but also fall in love with it. I consciously try to meet you where you are, and adjust the pace accordingly.
In subjects like Statistics, we start from scratch in a non judgmental environment. No student is shamed for not knowing something. Instead of rote learning the formulae as they are, we try to understand how they are derived conceptually. We solve numericals together in class, so you do not feel left behind.
Biological Basis of Behaviour is taught in a visual manner, using mnemonics, flowcharts, tables and in class drawings so you really grasp the subject strongly. We consistently practise active recall and solve MCQs for feedback.
Subjects like General Psychology, Social Psychology and Lifespan Psychology are taught with real life examples, so you can relate them personally, ensuring you never forget the concepts.
Clinical and Counselling Psychology is taught practically by sharing case studies and examples, to help you apply the concepts better. We strongly discourage memorising DSM Criteria as it is.
As someone with extensive experience clearing and helping others crack entrance exams, I don't just offer conceptual clarity in classes. I also help you understand the high priority topics and personality of each exam, so you can prepare for it strategically.
